Troy Resident Has Chance To Defeat 35-Game Winner On Jeopardy

TROY, MI — A Troy resident has the opportunity to take-down the reigning 35-game champion on Jeopardy Wednesday night.
David Garcia from Troy, is an IT Communications Strategy Team Lead at United Wholesale Mortgage in Pontiac. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in theater design and production from the School of Music.
Garcia said he tried for nearly 20 years to be a contestant on Jeopardy, and getting the chance to compete is a dream come true.

"I first auditioned in 2002 and I’ve taken the audition test maybe 7 or 8 times," Garcia told MLive. "This was a bucket list thing for me 19 years in the making."
