Troy Residents Displaced After House Fire
There were no injuries reported as the result of the fire.

Five people are out of their home after a fire rendered the residence at 90 Tacoma, located south of Kirts Blvd. in Troy, uninhabitable.
Troy Fire Stations 1 and 3, along with Rescue 4, were dispatched to the home at 7:37 p.m. on Nov. 14 and extinguished the fire in the first floor living room.
The occupants had dialed 9-1-1 to report the curtains on fire. All five of the adult occupants safely escaped prior to TFD arrival. Three occupants were treated at the scene by EMS for minor smoke inhalation and subsequently transported to Beaumont Hospital for observation.

The residents were provided with hotel accommodations by the Troy Firefighters Women’s Auxiliary. The fire is under investigation by TFD investigators to determine a cause..
