Troy Schools welcomes new Director of Technology Troy Wissink

Troy Schools welcomed new Director of Technology Troy Wissink effective Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024. Mr. Wissink started his educational technology career in 2000 with Saline Area Schools. He served there until early 2022, most recently as the Director of Technology. He has spent the last 2 years working for Huron Valley Schools in the same capacity. Troy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Cleary University, and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Detroit Mercy, where he graduated with honors and is an active member of the Order of Sword and Shield honor society. Mr. Wissink's experience leading staff, in project management, infrastructure management, security awareness, and implementation make him an asset to the Troy School District. Personally, Troy enjoys running, hiking, and mountain biking as we as traveling with his wife and son. He looks forward to meeting the needs of our staff, students and families in his new capacity.
