Troy Seeks Election Workers: How To Apply

The city is looking for some election workers. Here's how much the position pays and some other pros.

TROY, MI — The City of Troy is asking the public to apply to be election workers. The position includes paid training, the city said in a social media post.

The city had a bit of fun with their advertisement for the position and laid out some pros:

  • $12 per hour
  • fun and rewarding
  • paid training
  • not to mention, a strong sense of civic pride

The cons, they say, "well, there aren't any."

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and be available on March 10, Aug. 3 and Nov. 3 to work.
