Troy Weather: 40 MPH Winds, Possible Snow Wednesday
Metro Detroit is expected to see gusty winds pushing temperatures to zero and below zero at times Wednesday through Saturday.
TROY, MI — After a cloudy and dry Tuesday in Troy, winds with potential 40 mph gusts will move in through the evening ahead of a strong cold front moving down from southwest Canada, the National Weather Service said.
Wednesday will start relatively warm in metro Detroit with temperatures in the upper 30s before the cold front pushes through, plummeting temperatures to the low teens with bone-chilling wind chills near zero and even below zero at times, the National Weather Service said.
Along with the winds, Wednesday also brings a chance for rain and snow showers, mainly in the morning and afternoon, but the warmer temperatures should prevent any fear of freezing, the National Weather Service said.
