Expect 1-3 Inches of Snow Today, 'Blustery' Weather Tonight

The fluffy snow falling across the region will continue throughout the day with accumulations of 1-3 inches expected by the end of the day, according to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac.

Temperatures will fall to freezing by around 5 p.m. with a nighttime low around 19 degrees.

In addition to cold temperatures, blustery conditions are expected tonight as winds pick up this evening to between 14 and 21 m.p.h. with gusts as high as 28 m.p.h.

Wednesday is expected to be sunny and windy with a high near 26.
