Here's our Week in Review: A recap of the top headlines on Troy Patch from Sept. 10-16.

A lot happened last week, and we want to make sure you didn't miss the top headlines on Troy Patch. Here are five of our biggest, most-read stories from the past week:

  1. : The four-day family festival returned this Thursday through Sunday. Did you attend? . 
  2.  Troy native Ryan Humphrey has a wife, a toddler, a newborn, an agressive form of cancer, and a deep appreciation for living life to the fullest.
  3. . The 17-year-old female driver from Lapeer was arrested for felonious assault.
  4. . "It’s a testament to their hard work, the support of their parents, the quality of our teaching staff and the rigor of the TSD curriculum," Troy School District Superintendent Barbara Fowler said.
  5. . "Her failure to recognize (Fire) Chief Nelson appropriately and/or to encourage the rest of the council to do so is yet another failure of her leadership," writes Troy resident Sue Martin.
