Widespread Fog to Persist Through Morning

A dense fog advisory is in effect for the area until noon Wednesday as the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac warns of widespread decreased visibility throughout the morning and into the afternoon.

Visibilities will be a quarter mile or less through the morning and will improve slightly in the early afternoon, according to the weather service.

Driving will be more hazardous as a result, and drivers are urged to exercise caution by slowing down, using their headlights and leaving plenty of distance between vehicles.
