• No injuries reported in Warren apartment fire (candgnews.com) — Warren firefighters quickly contained an apartment fire at City Center Square, near 13 Mile and Van Dyke, on Dec. 22, and no injuries were reported. The blaze, sparked during plumbing repairs behind a washing machine, damaged at least two units and spread into the attic before crews from Warren, Center Line, and Detroit brought it under control around 1 p.m.
