5 Things To Know This Week: Lang Lang Performs, South American Wine Tasting
Here's what you need to know about West Bloomfield this week.

- Classical music at the Berman Wednesday: Lang Lang, named one of the "hottest artists on the classical music planet" will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Berman Center for the Performing Arts in "Dragon Songs." Tickets are $13 for JCC members and $16 for non-members.
- Learn about legendary Michigan shipwrecks Monday: Learn about Michigan's shipwrecks at 7 p.m. Monday at the West Bloomfield Township Public Library, presented by author and filmmaker Valerie van Heest.
- Film discussion series continues Tuesday: Tara Hayes from Oakland University continues her popular foreign film discussions at the West Bloomfield Township Public Library at 7 p.m. Tuesday. March's selection the Spanish film, The Secret in Their Eyes.
- Learn about South American wine Thursday: Plum Market will host a tasting of South American wines this Thursday, specifically from Chile and Argentina. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and tickets cost $20.
- Rain expected Monday: Get your umbrella ready. According to the National Weather Service, Monday's high is expected to be 53 degrees though there's a 90 percent chance of rain. That's the warmest it will be all week, though Tuesday has a high of 40 degrees.
