Oakland County Man Fires Gun Into Neighbor's Home During A Mental Health Breakdown: Police
There were people inside the home, but no one was struck and there were no injuries, according to police.

WEST BLOOMFIELD, MI — A man was arrested after firing a gun into a neighbor’s home during a mental health crisis Monday morning in Oakland County, according to police.
The incident happened at 9:30 a.m. Monday at a home in the 7400 block of Coach Lane in West Bloomfield, according to police.
Police said a woman reported that her husband was wearing a ballistic vest and fired a gun into their neighbor's home during a mental health breakdown.

When officers arrived, they found the man behaving erratically with a gun in the front of his home, according to police.
Police said officers tased the man when he resisted officers and placed him in handcuffs. They also retrieved the gun.

Investigators determined the man walked across the street to his neighbor's home where he smashed a window and fired several rounds into the home. There were people inside the home, but no one was struck and there were no injuries, according to police.
The man was placed in jail as the investigation continues. Anyone with information was asked to call 248-975-8934.
