Have Cocktails for a Cause and More This Week in West Bloomfield
A movie premiere and commemoration of this historic March on Washington are among the week's activities.
WJBK-TV's Jennifer Hammond joins the Sherrie Handrinos Foundation and the Fit 4 Hoops Foundation to host the third annual Cocktails for a Cause, held on Aug. 27 at Happy's Pizza and Pub, 7170 Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The event benefits the Sherrie Handrinos Foundation, which provides help for entrepreneurs, and Fit 4 Hoops, which offers youth top-quality professional basketball instruction and exposure to important life skills. For more information, visit sherriehandrinosfoundation.org.Â
