Judge Sentences Golfer Who Attacked West Bloomfield Man

Glenn Steven Lott, who previously pleaded no contest to a charge of aggravated assault, must take anger management classes.

The golfer accused of attacking a West Bloomfield resident at Westwynd Golf Course in Waterford June 6 has been sentenced to a year of probation and anger management classes, the Detroit Free Press reported Friday. 

Glenn Steven Lott, 60, previously pleaded no contest to a charge of aggravated assault following an altercation over a golf score. The West Bloomfield man was treated at the scene and later received stitches at an urgent care facility. 

According to the Free Press report, Lott "claimed the attack was prompted by prescription drugs".
