Multicultural Events Ahead This Week in West Bloomfield

Learn more about the faith journeys of five women and practice your English or Spanish skills.

From Bilingual Monday to a discussion about different faiths, this week offers opportunities to expand your cultural horizons in West Bloomfield.

Here are details about some of the events posted on the Patch calendar this week: 

1. Bilingual Monday

Through movement activities, songs, stories and games, you and your child (birth to age 5) can learn Spanish in a relaxed and fun environment at the West Bloomfield Township Library. Starts at 10 a.m., no registration is required. 

2. 5 Women 5 Journeys

Five guest speakers from WISDOM (Women's Interfaith Solutions for Dialogue and Outreach in Metro Detroit), will share their personal stories of different faith traditions at Congregation B'Nai Moshe on Tuesday, 7 p.m. For information, call 248-760-6416 or write to sisterhoodcbm1@gmail.com.

3. English Language discussion group

Anyone learning English or who wants to become more proficient is invited to improve their English language skills is invited to this drop-in group on Wednesday, 10 a.m., at the West Bloomfield Township Library. No registration is required.
