Storms Leave Hundreds Without Power in West Bloomfield, Keego, Sylvan Lake
With more than 105,000 customers knocked off-line in metro Detroit, DTE Energy has not yet estimated when power will be restored.
More than 1,200 DTE Energy customers in Keego Harbor and Sylvan Lake, and more than 500 in West Bloomfield Township were left without power Friday night, after strong storms blew through Oakland County.
The hardest hit areas of West Bloomfield Township are east and west of Marshbank Park, between Green Lake and Cass Lake.
The Detroit Free Press reported Friday night that more than 105,000 DTE Energy customers across metro Detroit lost power. As of 10:30 p.m., the company had not estimated when power will be restored.
