West Bloomfield Event Planning Expo Expands With 'Corporate Blitz'

The annual Joe Cornell Event-Planning Expo, held Oct. 6 at the Jewish Community Center in West Bloomfield, expands this year to include the "Corporate Blitz", an event-planning trade show for HR directors and corporate event planners

Steve Jasgur, CEO of Joe Cornell Entertainment, said the company is excited to offer the corporate-focused addition, "as Michigan’s economy picks up and companies are looking for innovative and fun ways to reward their employees, vendors and industry partners. It’s great to see this energy returning to our marketplace.”

More than 60 vendors will exhibit their talents and ideas for consumers from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Oct. 6, while the Corporate Blitz on Oct. 7, 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m., will be tailored for events in the corporate sphere, with advice on how to plan corporate excursions, events and employee rewards.
