1. The weather
TheΒ National Weather ServiceΒ says we can expect partly sunny skies, with a high near 80. Thursday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 57.
2. Gas prices
According toΒ DetroitGasPrices.com, the lowest reported gasoline price in the White Lake area as of Wednesday night was $3.99 per gallon at the Meijer gas station. In Highland, the Citgo gas station on Milford Road had the lowest gas price, $3.99.
3. On this day in history
According toΒ ο»Ώο»Ώο»ΏHistory.com,ο»Ώ in 1915, a prototype tank nicknamed Little Willie rolls off the assembly line in England. Little Willie was far from an overnight success. It weighed 14 tons, got stuck in trenches and crawled over rough terrain at only two miles per hour. However, improvements were made to the original prototype and tanks eventually transformed military battlefields.
