Outrun Hunger 5K Fun Run/Walk on November 3rd

The 2nd Annual Outrun Hunger 5K Fun Run/Walk is scheduled for 10am Saturday November 3, 2012 at Commerce Commons Pathway, 8600 PGA Dr., Commerce Twp.

"We at Grace Church appreciate the support thus far for this special charity event, Outrun Hunger," Kari Cotter, event organizer, said. "In order to hit our goal of $10,000 and feed 500 families during the holidays, we need help from our community. To date, we are short of our goal, however, if people help spread the word, participate and/or donate, I believe our community can come together and impact many families who are in need. Thank you".

Outrun Hunger is a fun event for charity. The 5k race is professionally timed and sponsor prizes are awarded for male/female overall and in age category. Best of all, 100% of your registration/ contribution goes back to the community to help families in need of food during the holidays. Grace Church—Commerce is partnering with Hospitality House of Walled Lake and Open Door Outreach Center of Waterford to hopefully raise $10,000 and feed 500 Lakes Region families this season.
