Man Fatally Stabs Fiancee In Oakland County: Police

Police said the 25-year-old man called 911 and said that he had stabbed his fiancée​.

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, MI — A 25-year-old man was arrested after fatally stabbing his finacee in Oakland County last Friday, according to police.

The incident happened at 3:41 p.m. Friday at a home on Hackett Street in Waterford Township, according to police.

Police said the 25-year-old man called 911 and said that he had stabbed his fiancée. When officers entered the home, they found a 33-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds inside, police said.

Officers provided medical care, but the woman died at the scene, police said.

Officers arrested the 25-year-old man in connection with the stabbing and placed him in the Oakland County Jail, police said.

Officials were still investigating the incident and plan to submit their findings to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office for review and consideration of potential criminal charges.
