Massive Fire Destroys Popular Oakland County Restaurant: Officials

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, MI β A Thursday morning fire destroyed a popular Oakland County restaurant, according to officials.
The Fork nβ Pint, located on Cass Elizabeth Road in Waterford Township, was engulfed in flames just before 7 a.m. Thursday, according to officials.
Video posted to social media showed fire crews battling the blaze as smoke filled the air.

Firefighters worked through the morning hours to eventually put out the blaze, but not before the building started collapsing, according to officials.
Officials said the building is a total loss, according to officials.

"This has been a Waterford landmark for a long time," a neighbor who lives near the restaurant told Fox 2 Detroit. "It's a landmark gone."
Officials were still working to determine the cause of the fire.
