Woman Injured After Falling From Oakland County Ski Lift: Officials
Officials said the woman was taken to a nearby hospital with "potentially severe traumatic injuries."
GROVELAND TOWNSHIP, MI — A woman was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon after she fell from a chair lift at an Oakland County ski resort, according to officials.
The incident happened Wednesday afternoon at the Mount Holly Ski Resort on Dixie Highway in Groveland Township, according to officials.
Officials said the woman fell from roughly 20 feet. She was taken to a nearby hospital with "potentially severe traumatic injuries," officials said.

Officials said it's not clear how or why she fell from the lift.
"Even though the circumstances of this incident remain unclear, we would like to remind everyone to be safe and aware of potential dangers while enjoying the slopes," officials said.

Officials also thanked the Mount Holly Ski Patrol for their quick action and exceptional care while assisting firefighters who responded to the incident.
