Investigators were still trying to determine if alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP, MI β A 53-year-old woman was killed in a rollover crash Friday morning in Oakland County, according to sheriff's officials.
The crash happened at 12:30 a.m. Friday in the 2500 block of Harvey Lake Road in Highland Township, officials said.
Officials said Lisa Dawn LaPearl, of Highland, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox south on Harvey Lake Road when the SUV crossed the centerline and left the road.

LaPearl told officers she couldn't get out of the SUV, officials said.
Her 30-year-old son, who was a passenger inside the SUV, had exited the vehicle and was walking around looking for the family dog, officials said.
As officials extricated LaPearl from the vehicle, she became unresponsive and had no pulse, authorities said.
Officials tried to revive her, but were unsuccessful and she died at the scene, authorities said.
Investigators said neither LaPearl nor her son was wearing a seatbelt. They do not know why the SUV left the road. They also do not know yet if alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash. An autopsy was scheduled for Friday, officials said.
The crash was still under investigation.
