Wyandotte's Riverside Kayak Connection Opening Kayak Rental Station in Trenton
The business is offering free kayak rentals at Elizabeth Park on Thursday to mark its grand opening.
Bring water shoes and a plastic bag for valuables to Trenton's at 4 p.m. Thursday for free kayak rentals sponsored by Wyandotte's .
The free day of kayaking was created to promote the business's grand opening of a new kayak rental area located near the park entrance.
Anita Twardesky, community outreach manager for Riverside Kayak Connection, said all are welcome to come out and enjoy the thrill of kayaking for free.

"Have your Up North fun, Downriver," she said.
The summer program is also great for events like family reunions, company team building, tours, mobile workshops for conferences and more, she said.

Kayaks will be driven to the park by trailer and displayed along the riverbank just inside the park.
After Thursday, kayak enthusiasts and first timers alike can expect to pay $10 per person for a half hour of kayaking. Boaters can pay by cash or check.
The rental fee includes a boat, paddles and life vest.
Boats will be available through Labor Day. Hours are 3 to 7 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
