Gas Prices Fall 4 Cents From Last Week, AAA Reports

AAA Michigan is reporting that gasoline prices have fallen roughly 4 cents during the past week to a statewide average of about $3.65 per gallon.

The Dearborn-based auto club said Monday that the average price at the pump is about 28 cents per gallon less than last year at this time.

Of the cities it surveys, AAA Michigan found the cheapest price for self-serve unleaded fuel is in the Marquette area, at about $3.55 a gallon. The highest average is in the Ann Arbor area, at $3.68 a gallon.

According to Michigan Gas Prices.com, the cheapest gas in Wyandotte is $3.43 a gallon, located at the Marathon gas station, 2000 Biddle Ave and Ford Rd.

Other gas stations with lower rates include:

• Future Fuels, 2821 Fort St., $3.49 per gallon.
• Valero, 72 Biddle Ave., $3.51 per gallon
• Sunoco, 1730 Ford Ave., $3.55 per gallon
