21-Year-Old MMA Fighter Killed In Moorhead, MN Crash
Shalie Dawn Lipp was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash, authorities said.
MOORHEAD, MN — A 21-year-old mixed martial arts fighter was killed Sunday morning in a two-car crash in Moorhead, Minnesota.
Shalie Dawn Lipp — of Breckenridge, Minnesota — was not wearing a seatbelt when the 2015 Chevy Malibu she was a passenger in crashed into a 2017 Jeep Cherokee.
None of the four other people involved in the crash were injured, authorities said.

The Chevrolet Malibu and Jeep Cherokee were both eastbound on Interstate 94 on the Red River Bridge just before 11:30 a.m.
The Chevrolet "made contact" with the Jeep, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. No other details were released, and the crash remains under investigation.

Lipp was scheduled to fight next in Detriot Lakes on May 20.
