Major Job Cuts Announced At Thief River Falls, MN Manufacturing Plant

THEIF RIVER FALLS, MN — Minnesota-based snowmobile and ATV manufacturer Arctic Cat Inc. has announced plans to lay off approximately 385 employees from its Thief River Falls facility, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice filed with the state.
The layoffs, which will be permanent, are set to take place between May 8 and May 22.
The affected employees, who are not represented by a union, will not have bumping rights, meaning they cannot replace less senior workers in similar roles.
