Memorial Day Weekend In The Twin Cities: The Forecast Is In

TWIN CITIES, MN — After a week of nonstop rain, Memorial Day weekend is shaping up to be a beauty across the Twin Cities, with sunshine, calm winds, and seasonably cool temperatures expected throughout the long holiday stretch.

After a crisp Thursday with decreasing clouds, temperatures will gradually warm and stabilize through the weekend, topping out in the upper 60s by Sunday and Monday.

Rain chances remain very low, and any showers that do pop up will likely stay confined to parts of southwest Minnesota.

Looking ahead, the start of June should see above-normal temperatures in Minnesota.
