What Are Minnesota’s Best Public High Schools Heading Into Fall 2025?

As a new school year begins, these Minnesota high schools earn top marks for academics and culture.

As students head back to class across Minnesota this month, rankings highlight the top public high schools in the state.

Niche released its 2025 Best Public High Schools in Minnesota list to help families compare their options.

The rankings draw on a mix of data and millions of reviews from students, parents, and alumni.

More than 93,000 public schools nationwide were evaluated on academic performance, graduation rates, teacher quality, and student feedback on culture, extracurriculars, and more.

For 2025, SAT and ACT scores were dropped from the formula to reflect the shift away from standardized testing in college admissions.
