1. The Minnesota Zoo: The Minnesota Zoo is not only a local habitat for animal and mammal education, but it's also a place that inspires the next generation of wildlife conservationists. Donate or volunteer today.

2. Dakota Woodlands: Previously known as Mary’s Shelter, Dakota Woodlands serves pregnant girls and women as well as single or pregnant homeless women. Community members can donate their time, money, or items to help with the effort.
3. The Open Door: The Open Door provides food to low-income people and families in Dakota County. The Open Door gave out 2.6 million pounds of food in 2022, and 64 percent of that was fresh food.
