Acting Attorney Chosen For Remainder Of Backstrom's Term

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN— Dakota County commissioners picked Kathryn Keena to serve as county attorney for the rest of Jim Backstrom's term, Pioneer Press reported.

Keena has served as acting attorney since Backstrom's February retirement due to health issues, the publication reported.

The election to permanently fill the position will be Nov. 8, 2022, the publication reported.
