The Real Time Hiring Solutions Series (details above) kicked off last week with the Symposium. It was the 1st part of the 5-part series that the Apple Valley, Burnsville, Hastings, Lakeville and River Heights Chambers put together for members. Sponsored by Wings Financial Credit Union, we were all thrilled at the great presentations about the problems and clear solutions of hiring and keeping employees around. Each of the 40 in attendance including many of our Apple Valley members all walked away with ideas, stats, trends, best practices and tips from other companies present. Our next in the 5 series will be March 16th at 3-4:30 p.m. at Rihm Kenworth in South St. Paul and the topic is “Building Talent Pipeline”. The Apple Valley Chamber will host the Sept. 28th workshop from 3-4:30 p.m. at Uponor. We are all trying to find solutions to our collective foremost problems in business which currently is hiring and also retention during this “great resignation.”
