The woman told officers she met up with a friend the day before in Minneapolis, police said. The friend introduced her to Tweed and his girlfriend, according to officials. The group then went back to Tweed's apartment, where Tweed repeatedly asked the woman to take off her clothes, police said.
Tweed's girlfriend was upset with Tweed's treatment of the woman and left the apartment, according to the complaint.
At 9 a.m., the woman said she went to the bedroom and was followed by Tweed, police said. She allowed him to give her a massage, according to officials.
Tweed tried multiple times to life the woman's skirt and she stopped him and said she only wanted a massage over the clothes, police said.
The woman fell asleep during the massage and said she woke up to Tweed sexually assaulting her, according to officials. After she accused Tweed of raping her, Tweed left the apartment, according to the criminal complaint.
The woman was shown a photo of Tweed and identified him as the man she said assaulted her, according to officials.
The woman was brought to Fairview Ridges Hospital where sexual assault examination was conducted and evidence was collected, according to officials.
Numerous attempts were made to find Tweed, who also had an active warrant from the Department of Corrections for "absconding from supervised release," according to the complaint.
