Apple Valley's Andy Dodds Competes in Tour de Twin Cities Ski Races

Andy Dodds, who graduated from , competed in multiple classic and freestyle events associated with the Tour de Twin Cities nordic ski race in the past week.

His finishes include:

• 21st in the Mayor's Challenge 1.4-kilometer men's sprint at Theodore Wirth Golf Course in Minneapolis, with a time of 3:05.46.

• 27th in the Battle Creek SuperTour men's 10-kilometer OJ/J1 Classic in Lake Elmo, with a time of 0:31:47.4

• 79th in the Mayor's Challenge men's 15-kilometer freestyle, with a time of 0:39:21.9

• 101st in the Mayor's Challenge men's 10-kilometer classic, with a time of 0:27:07.5

The Tour de Twin Cities is a Unites States Skiing Association-sanctioned mini-tour with SuperTour, Junior Olympic Qualifying, College, Youth and Citizen's nordic ski events in Minneapolis and Saint Paul, according to a press release; the series is a joint venture of the Sisu Foundation and the City of Lakes Nordic Ski Foundation, the release says.
