Eastview Head Softball Coach Resigns, Won't Be Replaced for Coming Season

Other coaches will share head-coaching duties, and the school will start looking this spring for a head coach for 2013.

Three softball coaches will share head-coaching duties during the upcoming season, after head coach Mike Haugh resigned and school officials decided not to fill the head coach position until the 2013 season, according to a press release.

Haugh, who began coaching the softball team and teaching at Eastview in 2000 and became the team's head coach in 2006, will continue to teach math at Eastview, but wanted to spend more time watching his own children play sports, the release says.

For the 2012 season, coaches Brad McCumber, Nicole Newton and Paul Hassett will share varsity softball team leadership duties, the release says.
