UPDATE: Eastview's Mitch Rechtzigel Through to State Wrestling Semifinals
Senior wins first two matches, needs one more win to reach championship at 160 pounds.
's Mitch Rechtzigel was the lone Lightning wrestler to advance in individual state competition after the first round on Friday.
Rechtzigel picked up a pair of victories at 160 pounds Friday, winning by technical fall over Blake Solberg of Centennial in the opening round, and winning a major decision 10-1 over Bryant Amundson of St. Cloud Tech in the quarterfinals.
The other two Eastview wrestlers at the state tournament were BJ Groskreutz at 132, and Jacob Rukavina at 138.

Groskreutz lost by technical fall in the first round to Eric Bauer of Hastings, and Rukavina lost his opener 15-1 to Weston Droegemueller of Wayzata.
Bauer lost his next match, meaning Groskreutz did not get to wrestle in the consolation rounds. Rukavina did get a second match, but lost it 6-5 to Lincoln Mallinger of St. Michael-Albertville.
