Bring your umbrella: It's looking like rain today, with as much as a half-inch possible.

- The National Weather Service is predicting showers and thunderstorms today, mainly before 1 p.m. The high will be near 84, with light south winds and an 80 percent chance of rain – possibly as much as one-quarter to one-half inch.
- Appropriately enough, one of today’s Leprechaun Days events is Wet ‘n’ Wild Day at Jaycee Park, from 10:30 a.m. to noon for ages 4 through 6 and from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. for ages 7 through 12. Call (651) 322-6000 for more information.
- Also on today’s Leprechaun Days schedule: family bingo from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Rosemount American Legion; a kids’ hula-hoop contest from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Rosemount Eye Clinic; family and teen night at AMF City Limits, with unlimited bowling, from 4 to 9 p.m.; a community worship service and a free hot dog dinner from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Central Park; and tricycle, Big Wheel and scooter races from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the American Legion. - Come to a at the Robert Trail Library from noon to 1 p.m. Learn about good books for summer reading, and bring your lunch and a blanket. The event is for children 7 through 12, and a cool treat will be served.
- If you missed yesterday’s Rosemount Farmers Market, head down for from noon to 5 p.m. The market is at Market Plaza, Holyoke Avenue and 208th Street – and the sweet corn is just starting to get good.
