Friday at the Dakota County Fair: Beef and Fleece and Needlecraft, Oh My

More 4-H judging is on the docket for Friday at the Dakota County Fair; check out the beef steer, sheep fleece and goat events.

If you're looking for a new craft project to take on, visit the Needlecraft building throughout the day for demonstrations of fabric coiled basket-making and how to make aprons from recycled blue jeans.

The Minnesota Timberwolves also make a showing at the fair for the first time on Friday, from 5 to 8 p.m. (Look for them from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, too.)
