Haiti Outreach Fundraiser Scheduled for Just After 2nd Anniversary of Earthquake
Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church will hold a fundraiser dinner on Saturday for church members doing work in Haiti this coming summer.

Jan. 12 marks the two-year anniversary of the magnitude-7.0 earthquake that devastated the country of Haiti.
this summer will send youth and adults to Haiti to work with the organization Haiti Outreach, which focuses on things like getting clean water and economic opportunities for the people who live in Haiti, as rubble from the earthquake still remains and many Haitians still experience poor living conditions, according to a church newsletter.
The church will hold a silent auction and dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday as a trip fundraiser, which will include Haitian food and music.

Online registration is available until Friday night, or pay at the door. Cost is $10 in advance for adults, $12 at the door for adults and $7 for children 12 and under, with a $30 maximum per family.
