
APPLE VALLEY, MN — The Minnesota Zoo recently announced the birth of six beaver kits.
Randy and Gina, North American beavers, had their kits June 9, the Zoo said. They are all doing well, according to the Zoo.
The parents can be seen in the pond on the Zoo's Minnesota Trail, the Zoo said.

The kits will stay behind scenes for a while, but will emerge next month, according to the Zoo.
Minnesota Zoo also recently welcomed tiger cubs, which were born on Mother's Day. They were fathered by recently-passed Amur tiger, Putin.
