Pet of the Week: Red is an Adorable Lab/Hound Mix Who Loves Kids

Editor's note: This is a weekly series featuring a companion up for adoption from Dakota County animal rescues.

Red is an adorable 5-year-old lab/hound mix that is so deserving of a family.  

He's currently in fostercare in Lakeville with Happy Hound Rescue. 

Red gets along great with cats! He is currently fostered in a home with several cats of all ages and doesn't bother them at all. He also loves people, including kids. Red is good with other submissive dogs or would do wonderful as an only dog and get all the attention. He sleeps in a dog bed at night and is also crate trained. Red loves to go for walks, but pulls pretty hard on the leash. 

He will need some more leash training, but certainly enjoys exploring the world.  Please consider Red to be part of your family.
