Paideia Students Tape Teacher to Wall for Good Cause
Paideia students and staff raised more than $1,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society over two weeks.

students and staff raised more than more than $1,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, according to a press release, through activities that included a penny war and pajama day.
The most successful event, however, was "stuck for a buck," which let students pay $1 to add a piece of duct tape to the spiderweb of tape that pinned gym teacher Mindy Daugherty to a wall.
The school’s leadership team, consisting of middle school students and teacher Anne Simon, organized the events. The funds will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Patients Program.
