ROSEMOUNT, MN — The city of Rosemount announced that its splash pad opened at 10 a.m. Friday.
The splash pad, located at 2893 145th Street West, will be open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. daily, the city said.
This year, the city said it added a covered shelter with picnic tables and a drinking fountain to the site of the splash pad.

The 3,700 square foot splash pad is operated by hand and foot activators and run for a limited time, so the water only runs while someone is using the splash pad, the city said. The rain deck is made up of non-slip concrete, according to the city.
