Rosemount Volunteers Improve City's Quality of Life
For the ninth consecutive year, the Rosemount City Council recognized more than a hundred citizens for their volunteer efforts within the community.

For the ninth consecutive year, the Rosemount City Council on Tuesday evening recognized more than a hundred citizens for their volunteer efforts within the community.
Mayor Bill Droste handed out commendations to those volunteers in attendance while Council member Kim Shoe-Corrigan described the value each individual's efforts brought to the organizations they contribute their time to and the impact they have on the community.
The commendations and presentation coincide with National Volunteer Week.

Individuals represented a diverse group of organizations and causes within Rosemount, including:
- Leprechaun Days and Haunted Woods Trail
- Adopt-a-Park
- Wetland Health
- Police Support
- Schools
- Girl Scouts
- Rosemount Area Athletic Association
