Some Mid-Winter Fest Activities Canceled Due to Lack of Snow

The Mid-Winter Fest snow tubing, cross country skiing and snowshoeing events scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at have been canceled because of lack of snow, according to an announcement from the city.

The and that were supposed to be set up at Valleywood from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. will instead be at the instead, as will the bonfire and marshmallow roast, all in their original time slots.

Sled dog races and wagon rides had already been canceled for this year.
