Winter Storm Watch Issued For Apple Valley: Here's What To Expect

APPLE VALLEY, MN — The city of Apple Valley and the rest of Dakota County will be under a winter storm watch starting Thursday. Between 5 to 11 inches of snow could fall in Eagan, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.
"Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility," the NWS said.
"The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes."

Thursday: Snow likely, mainly after noon. Patchy blowing snow after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 35. Breezy, with an east wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
