Dakota County to Host Local Author Fair
The county is looking for Dakota County writers to showcase their work in January.

The Dakota County Library system is searching for homegrown talent to participate in its Local Author Fair — the first of its kind.
The fair will give Dakota County literati a chance to show off their work, sell books and talk shop. The event will also feature award-winning mystery author David Housewright and free writing and publishing workshops from The Loft Literary Center.
The fair is set for Jan. 21, 2012 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Western Service Center in Apple Valley.
