BURNSVILLE, MN — Baba's, a hummus brand based in Mediterranean Cruise Café in Burnsville, is planning a regional expansion in 2022, according to a report by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. The business is owned by two siblings operating in the basement of their father's restaurant, the publication reported.

Baba's is sold in over 130 stores in Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin, according to the report.

The brand is also planning a national expansion in 2023 or 2024, the report said.

Baba's is also looking to purchase a building in the Twin Cities to keep up with its growth and meet future goals, the publication reported.
