Burnsville Company To Award $20k To Twin Cities Teachers
Two teachers will be awarded a $2,000 Target gift card and 16 teachers will be awarded a $1,000 gift card.

BURNSVILLE, MN — Burnsville-based cooling, heating, plumbing and electrical resource Genz-Ryan is awarding teachers in the Twin Cities $20,000 in classroom supplies with the launch of this year's Classroom Cash, the company said.
Two teachers will be awarded a $2,000 Target gift card and 16 teachers will be awarded a $1,000 gift card, the company said.
Nominations are open July 23-Aug. 6 with voting open Aug. 11-18. Winners will be announced the week after voting is finished, the company said. To nominate a teacher, visit the Classroom Cash contest page and share a picture of the teacher and why they are a fantastic teacher, the company instructed.

Since Classroom Cash launched in 2019, Genz-Ryan has given $53,000 to local teachers, the company said.
"Classroom Cash highlights beloved local teachers and their dedication to their student’s education and classroom curriculum," Genz-Ryan said. "Now more than ever, Genz-Ryan appreciates our Minnesota teachers and felt inspired by their motivation to improve student's lives during this unprecedented time."
