Burnsville K9 Blaze To Receive Bullet, Stab-Proof Vest
The vest is a donation from non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.

BURNSVILLE, MN — Burnsville Police Department's K9 Blaze will receive a bullet and stab-proof vest as a donation from non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc., the city of Burnsville said.
Blaze's vest is sponsored by Green Development, LLC of Rhode Island and will be embroidered, “Gifted by Green Development, LLC,” the city said.
Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. was founded in 2009 and donates bullet and stab-proof vests to dogs that assist law enforcement, the city said. The non-profit has donated 4,327 vests, worth $6.9 million, total, the city said.
