Burnsville Native To Compete On Jeopardy!

BURNSVILLE, MN — A Burnsville native will compete in the Jeopardy! National College Championship, hosted by Mayim Bialik, a news release said.

If he wins the grand prize, Chance Persons, a sophomore at Creighton University, will be $250,000 richer, according to the news release.

36 undergrads from across the country will compete in the championship, beginning on Tuesday, Jeopardy said. Persons will compete on Thursday, Jeopardy! told Patch.

Here is the schedule for the championship's quarterfinals:

• Tuesday, Feb. 8 (8 - 9 p.m. ET) - Episode 1, Quarterfinals 1 & 2
• Wednesday, Feb. 9 (8 - 9 p.m. ET) - Episode 2, Quarterfinals 3 & 4
• Thursday, Feb. 10 (8 - 9 p.m. ET) - Episode 3, Quarterfinals 5 & 6
• Friday, Feb. 11 (8 - 9 p.m. ET) - Episode 4, Quarterfinals 7 & 8
• Tuesday, Feb. 15 (8 - 9 p.m. ET) - Episode 5, Quarterfinals 9 & 10
• Wednesday, Feb. 16 (8 - 9 p.m. ET) - Episode 6, Quarterfinals 11 & 12

The championship will be on ABC and will be available to stream on Hulu, the news release said.
